NEW FEATURE...

Recently I have connected to a print press that will now host my photography for purchase!  Sooo what does that mean for you?  I've been trying to simplify my work flow and I feel like this is the most efficient and immediate way for my friends and clients to get hard copies of their images.   And let me tell you...the quality of the prints are amazing.  Believe me when I say that I love costo-co for value, and quality, as a general rule, but REALLY...."if you use a Mickey Mouse printer, you will get Mickey Mouse pictures."  That's a promise!  Anyway, clients have the option to password protect their gallery if it's a private event, but some public events only require your email...NO I WILL NOT SEND YOU SPAM!   If you have any questions please just comment, or call, or shoot me an email!  THANKS

Hi... I found your link through another photographers blog I look at (Natalie - don't know her, but love her pics - your fam ones are way cute)... I'm curious about the photo hosting/purchasing sites... is it instaproofs that you are using? I've looked at that site, but don't know anyone who uses it. Do you like it? It looks like they just do the ordering side of things (not printing) - is that right? So a client can place the order and then instaproofs lets you know and you have to use a different lab? - sounds like you have an online lab??? I've never done printing anywhere but costco (I'm not at that "pro" level yet - maybe someday :)) I'd really appreciate any help you can give... i'll link into this thread so you can just reply to the comment or you could email me at jennifer.dorman@gmail.com... thanks a ton

Hi Jennifer,
I am using instaproofs. I do like it so far. What happens is the client will order from the site and I can take the order and use whatever lab I want to fulfill the order. Twice a month they send me a check for the prints ordered. They are free to sign up with but they do take a percentage off every order. I do plan on moving up to a host like "Pickpic" in the future. The difference there is that you pay one flat fee one time and thats it. I use WHCC as a print lab, and I can't tell you how amazing the prints look. I was also a faithful costco printer (because it was cheap)..I don't think I can ever go back now. The online lab rocks you have to sign up for service and sometimes there is a waiting list...let me know if I can help you with anything else!! THANKS FOR COMING BY!
