Announcing the first official "Dinner Development"

Okay guys....I have been talking about doing this for a few months now, but it's OFFICIAL!!  October 14th, I am launching my very first "Dinner Development" group.  I've been thinking about the best way for me to respond to the requests I have been getting about a teaching workshop....and this is what I've decided.  I'm in a really busy work season, but I do want to be available to all of you who have a passion to learn and maybe need a little direction or boost.  I'm not an expert but whatever I may know is yours.  I truly believe that if we share, give away all that we know, more will come back to us.  I will always share, and support you as a hobbyist, a professional, a mother, a father, a friend, whatever your pursuit is.  My hope is as you will grow and benefit from my experiences and advice, you will in turn become a strong support network for one another, second shoot, refer, and  basically become the cheering section for one another, and others who are searching for help.  So for my trial run I will take the first 4 lovely people who comment on this blog, specifying interest in being part of the dinner group.  Once I have your names and emails I will let you know where we will meet.

Cost:  Your meal, your brain, your friendship and open minds
Length: 1.5 hours
Date: October 14th (7:00pm)
Location: TBA (somewhere in SLC)

I am hoping to open this up to anyone interested in the next few months, but for now I want to be able to use these meetings to develop an effective teaching model.  I hope you know this isn't about me...it's about you, meeting new people, supporting one another, and LOVING what you do!  In the mean time, once you know you are on the dinner list...you will see by the order of your names...please make a list of the things you'd like me to cover.  It will be SUPER casual.  More than anything I just want to get to know you and put faces to names!  MUCH LOVE!!!  READY....SET.....GO!

Ok, so I so want to learn, learn, learn, but I only shoot with a digital camera that wasn't very expensive at all. I do want to become better and learn different techniques... do you think this will be way over my head? I'm so interested please hit me up.

Hi I am just wondering if there is any spaces left for your dinner mentoring session. I came across your website from Jake and Mandy's blog.

Hello! My name is Ashley and I grew up in Utah so most of my friends still live there. I discovered your blog and photography from my dear friend Bryndie. I am new to the proffessional world and right now I feel completely lost!! I have done what I can, bought photoshop, lenses, and tried to learn as much as I could about photoshop. I find your photos to be so amazing and so much better than mine! I wish I could have lived closer to attend you dinner but I unfortunately live far away in Minneosta. I was wondering if you ever provide any lessons or teach anyone from a distance. I know you are busy right now but maybe in the slower season sometime. I would be happy to pay you for your time. My email is hawkeye_photo@yahoo.com if you are interested. Thanks again for your inspiration and I will continue to follow you work!

My co-worker (Your BIL) sent me this link when I was talking about learning more about photography. Apparently he wasn't paying attention to the 'first 4 people thing'. But when you have another one I hope you'll let me know! Thanks.

P.s if this pops up 5 billion times it's because it kept saying i was putting in the captcha (or whatever) wrong.
